Jesus is the Good Shepherd who cares for all of his sheep, who knows them by name, who gives them life to the full and who lays his life for them. Those of us who are called ‘shepherds’ (or pastors) by office or inclination, would we truly do the same? Yet Jesus provides the model for us. Who has God put in your care, even if it is only praying for them remotely? Take this role seriously, you have no idea how your actions help create the full picture in someone else’s life.
